Chenango Chendig Mountain Bike Festival (September 12)
Trails, Bikes, Food, and Chenanigans! Save the date and come join us for the Chenango Chendig on Saturday, September 12, 2026! Our annual mountain bike festival is held as a thank you to our members and friends who support Cycle-CNY, and to showcase the awesome trails in our region. Come join us for a fun day on the trails at Chenango Valley State Park! Event opens at 10:00am in the huge Pine Plains Pavilion area. Group rides, demo bikes, food truck, bike games, and lots of fun. Bring your bikes, drinks, sun tents and chairs! Cycle-CNY raffle fundraiser and merchandise for sale. Check out these pics from past year’s events!
No event fee, no NYS Parks fee! Camp site reservations available at the Park (choose the Chipmunk Bluff camping area, sites 89-116)!

- Sign a waiver if you want to join a group ride.
- Don’t want to participate in an activity or group ride? Hang out and enjoy the fun all day at the Chendig’s huge pavilion and green space! Bathrooms and charcoal grills available on site.
10:30 AM Group Rides Start – Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced group rides
11:30 – 2 PM Food Truck
12:00 PM Beginner Jump Clinic – Jump instruction on flat ground and small ramps, presented by Chenango Point Cycle!
12:00 PM Strider / Kids Bike Race – Kids 12 and under compete for the fastest time through the kid’s course
1:30 PM Group Rides Start – Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced group rides
3:00 PM Limbo/Reverse Limbo– Who will get under the lowest bar and/or jump over the highest bar? Longest Skinny – Furthest ride down the skinny
4:00 PM Raffle Drawing – Must be present to win!
6:00 PM Event Closes – Thank you to Cycle CNY, our event sponsors and volunteers, the CVSP trail stewards, and everyone who came out to join us!
