Dirty Hector Bike Race (May 24)
Come join us on May 24th for the Dirty Hector 2026! This race is CHALLENGING and FUN!! It may be MUDDY, it will be HARD, it is BEAUTIFUL and will take GRIT to get through. It’s also one-of-a kind and totally worth it. Just ask anyone who raced last year!

The Dirty Hector race course winds its way through, around, up, down, and across the best trails, cow fields, creeks, mud, forests, dirt, and gravel roads that Hector and the Finger Lakes National Forest have to offer.
The roughly 40 mile race with about 3500′ of elevation gain will start and finish at Silver Queen Farm.
Mass start at 11am. All categories start together!
There will be one aid station at about the halfway point with water and some provisions available.
Course will be marked with signage but GPS and downloaded route is HIGHLY recommended due to poor reception throughout the route. Roads are open and we will have marshals at busier intersections.
This is not a gravel “road race”! In addition to beautiful NY dirt roads, you can expect some technical trail, mud, grass, water crossings, fence crossings….think gravel meets cyclocross…with lots of hills.
Prizes 3-deep for each category
Babe’s Burgers food truck, beer and ice cream at the farm post-race!
The final route will be sent out prior to race day. Route below will be pretty close to actual!
