Shindagin Hollow trail work day, Sunday August 18th @ 10am

Join Cycle-CNY for some trail work at Shindagin Hollow!  Sunday, August 18th at 10am!  Note the different meeting location!

We’re getting together for some needed work on the IMBA trail (Blue 4).  We’ll build a new boardwalk section over a muddy trail spot, clear some downed trees, and improve drainage and rock armoring where we can.  Help us get the trail ready for our annual Shindagin Shindig bike festival (September 14)!  We could really use a bunch of trail builders to make this project go quickly!

Note the different meeting location – we’ll meet towards the South end of Braley Hill Rd, about 2 miles South of the main parking lot, at the very South end of the Creek trail (Blue 6).  There’s roadside parking along that location.  See the map for reference.

Cycle-CNY provides many of the tools, but we could use a few more strong cordless drills for this project.  Also, pruners and handsaws will be helpful if you have them to bring along.  Please bring your own work gloves, water, and bug spray!  We’ll work anyway if there’s a light rain….
